How reading Stanley Hauerwas is transforming my thinking? - 20/04/04

summary:
The title could quite easily also be ‘how reading Stanley Hauerwas is making me read the Bible (in a new light).’ This is perhaps a strange title and most of you will have probably never heard of Stanley Hauerwas, but his writing is having a profound affect on what I think about God, the church, and the world. I say ‘is’ because I’m not totally sure yet where he has transformed my thinking to. For those of you interested Stanley Hauerwas is professor of theological ethics at Duke University, North Carolina, USA.
